Embedded Resolution of Singularities in Rigid Analytic Geometry
We give a rigid analytic version of Hironaka’s Embedded Resolution of Singularities over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero, complete with respect to a non-archimedean norm. This resolution is local with respect to the Grothendieck topology. The proof uses Hironaka’s original result, together with an application of our analytization functor. 0. Introduction and preliminaries.
متن کاملAsymptotics of bivariate analytic functions with algebraic singularities
In this paper, we use the multivariate analytic techniques of Pemantle and Wilson to find asymptotic formulae for the coefficients of a broad class of multivariate generating functions with algebraic singularities. Flajolet and Odlyzko (1990) analyzed the coefficients of a class of univariate generating functions with algebraic singularities. These results have been extended to classes of multi...
متن کاملOn Polynomial Interpolation to Analytic Functions with Singularities
Méray has given f the following illustration to show that polynomials formed from a given function by interpolation do not necessarily converge to that function. Interpolate to the f unction ƒ (s) = 1/z by means of the polynomials pn(z) of respective degreest w = l, 2, 3, • • • , required to coincide with ƒ (z) in the (n + l)th roots of unity; this condition defines the polynomials pn(z) unique...
متن کاملA NOTE ON GLOBAL p POWERS OF RIGID ANALYTIC FUNCTIONS
Assume that K is a perfect field of characteristic p > 0 that is complete with respect to an ultrametric valuation, and let X be a rigid analytic variety over K. Suppose that X is smooth and connected with respect to its Grothendieck topology. Let f be a (global) function on X the differential of which vanishes locally at some point of X; then f is the p power of a (global) function.
متن کاملMicrolocal Analytic Singularities
These notes approximately represent the contents of a course given at l’Université de Paris Sud in Spring 1981 and in an accelerated version at Lund University. They are based on about three years of work with analytic singularities. The author arrived at this subject through the study of the propagation of analytic singularities for boundary value problems. Among the three existing definitions...
